Adobe Drops Trow and Doesn’t Disappoint

Holy shit, Adobe just swung its giant corporate junk on the table and said, “come at me, bro.”

In one swift announcement Adobe has integrated not one, not two, not three, but FOUR giant generative AI models into its editing platform Adobe Premier Pro. We’re talking the AI giants: Sora, Runway, Pika, and their own model Firefly.

Shoot, any one any one of these models alone is an absolute superpower in the world of editing and creating videos. But all 4, plus the core features of Premier already? We’re talking actual Infinity Gauntlet status. 

Right now, there’s no editing software available to the public that’s even close to this. Here’s a little taste of how it all works:

Right now, they’re currently in closed testing, but they’ll be dropping for the rest of the world sometime later this year.

The Perfect DnD Companion
The most touted and exciting feature is its ability to take meeting notes but I’ll tell you what… my DnD brain took it up a notch for this one.

As our campaign’s designated note taker, this little guy is going to change the game. Instead of flipping between imagination and reality, I can stay fully immersed in the scenario without needing to worry about the notes!

• Voice recognition between you and others (transcription using voice detection to distinguish who is talking)

• Your voice is transcribed but any new speakers won’t be identified until they give consent to be recorded and transcribed. Crazy right?!?

Who Wants Privacy?!?
On a more serious note, note taking is now a breeze and the pendant was designed to be personalized as well as private. They’ve created a secure encrypted way to store your data on the “confidential cloud.” Psh, those two words are almost never in the same sentence.

“Unlike the traditional cloud, your employer, us as a software provider, and the government cannot decrypt your data without your permission, even if given a subpoena to do so” - Limitless CEO, Dan Siroker.

There are a ton of other small notable qualities of this little guy, but for brevity’s sake, we’ll skip to the product roadmap and leave the rest for you to dive into.

Not gonna lie, we have high hopes for this one. It’s the first “new” generation of AI wearables that feels right. Even their website feelsgoodman.

Fair warning, the CEO does a good job in the launch video but he’s no Steve Jobs. It’s also funny how after watching hundreds of AI videos, this one almost looks uncoordinated and fake, which in turn might be more authentic than the perfect AI version 🤣
