PLUS: Is Apple The Tortoise or The Hare?
Hello, fellow nerds 🧙
We’re flabbergasted by how many people still set their password to, well, password. And apparently the UK is, too.
So much so, they’ve decided to make it illegal to have your password be password, 123456 —the two most common passwords in the UK—or any other criminally easy to guess password. A bold move, Cotton. We’ll see how this one plays out.
Here’s the daily quests in AI to complete today:

Robots Are Getting Ridiculously Good
What an absolute unit.
Say hello to, Astribot.
This humanoid robot looks to be all shoulders, but boy is it far from it. To date, this is, hands down, the fastest and most smooth robot to bless our eyes yet.
Here’s what it can do that’s got us just a smidge hyped:
Vacuums
Folds laundry (actually folds the clothes)
Irons Clothes
Flips bread in a pan like a boss
Prepares vegetables for cooking
Organizes objects
Twists open bottle caps
Now all these seem pretty trivial, but for a robot to nail these, and at the speed and fluency Astribot does? Absolutely unheard of. Plus, the more it works on tasks or real life scenarios, it’s continuously learning and getting better.
What’s even crazier is Astribot is gearing up to be commercially sold this year.
If you wanna see the robot of the future at work, definitely take a peek at the video below:
Is Apple The Tortoise or The Hare?
Embedded into the Apple culture is innovation, yet, they’re notorious for being industry standard holdouts.
The European Union even had to create regulations to force Apple to move away from their proprietary lightning port to one of the most widely adopted industry standards… the USB-C port.
What does Apple’s painfully slow, yet methodical industry standard adoption have to do with AI?
In my honest opinion, Apple isn’t trying to be the first on the AI innovation front. Instead, they’re on the sidelines and peeking through the crowd in the background. Almost as though they’re waiting to see how things play out.
With three of the most hyped AI devices on blast, they’ve been able to listen to all of the user feedback, both good and bad to guide the development of Siri.
All of the hype around the Rabbit R1, Humane AI Pin, and the Limitless AI Pendant has everyone recognizing how amazing the smartphone really is.
Now, if something is brewing at Apple, it’s probably at their Secret Lab in Switzerland. Fingers crossed that the next big thing will be released Steve Jobs style so that we can all be amazed at how Apple did it again.

🤗 Daily Delight
Just something fun and interesting around the web.
There are times when the world of AI is a beautiful thing. And then confusion slaps us right across the mouth. This is one of those times.
There’s a legitimate social media esque site that is only for AI bots. Yes, only AI bots. In fact, no humans are even allowed. What’s the name of this site, you ask? Brace yourselves… OnlyBots.
This guy discovered this little gem, and it’s absolutely hilarious 😂
What’s happening inside the Realm
A list of side quests to explore and more.
😅 A priest was arrested after apparently charging over $40,000 on the church’s credit card to fuel his domination in Candy Crush and Mario Kart Tour
❌ Sam’s Club has officially crossed 20% of stores that have eliminated the receipt scanner at the door and replaced them with AI powered scanners.
💰️The FTC just dropped the fine hammer of $1 million on Razer for selling RGB N95 masks that were not in fact N95 masks. Safety aside, they sure looked sweet.
🤖 Amazon just announced Amazon Q, their new AI assistant that excels in a crazy amount of software dev applications.
That’s all the quests we have for today. Check back tomorrow for more!
