Well, turns out OpenAI is actually facing a lawsuit from Scarlett Johansson after all for the alleged illegal use of her voice.

Now we posted a comparison of OpenAI’s Sky voice model and ScarJo yesterday, and boy they certainly were close. Exact though? Well, no, but I can see why OpenAI has been handed the lawsuit. Here’s the entire statement from ScarJo’s camp. Of course, we’ll keep ya posted if anything transpires.

Microsoft Just Gave Every Gamer The Ultimate Cheat Code

Ladies and gents, we’re getting straight into the meat and potatoes. I present to you the ultimate gamer cheat code:

Yup, that’s right. You can now play whatever game your little heart desires and, if you happen to run into a snag or need an answer you’d normally find from a wiki, Copilot’s got your back like a buttcrack.

Its now got the power to see everything that’s happening on your screen, identify what you’re playing, and guide you along the way to craft a sword like in Minecraft, or give you tips and tricks on beating a terrifying boss. Looking at you Dark Souls…

Now I can’t say I expected this coming out of Microsoft’s camp, but I can certainly say I’m pleasantly surprised this tech is here. No more double or triple monitor setup required to view a crafting recipe list for a survival game anymore.

But I do kinda wish any other company developed this tech because I’m gonna be honest with ya’ll, I’m really not a fan of the Microsoft ecosystem. They’ve just got that whole “we’re corporate, but we’re still funny and hip, and we’re definitely not trying too hard” kind of vibe going, ya know? Just, eww.

Maybe now that Copilot is hitting the wild after Microsoft’s presentation, someone cooler will pick up the reigns and I can feel at peace. Hopefully 🤞 

Photographer Turned AI Model Generator

At Levi’s they’re committed to representing people of all shapes, sizes and colors in their advertising and both behind and front of the camera.

But the same eye needed by photographers to get just the right smile, lighting and pose are also being used to generate models using AI.

The only thing holding Levi’s back from creating Lalaland.ai is the lack of internal AI guidelines by Levi’s. So although they haven’t rolled out these perfect AI generated specimens… they’re working on it.

The face, hair and curves, ya know? It all begins with generating the AI model’s body. Freckles and all. Based on the recommendations, the photographer may as well cut out pictures from a magazine to give to a machine learning team which then trains an AI model to create an AI model… get it? 🤣 

Slap on the ‘drobe! Next, the clothes. Then again, Levi’s could probably sell more jeans with half naked models draping their jeans and logo everywhere.

The Great AI’ification. Get ready for more stories like this of how a seemingly traditional job like a photographer transitions to AI. With a great eye and understanding of various camera settings like aperture could then use that knowledge to create amazing images on MidJourney or DALL-E
